Swimming pool Heating Pumps are a ultra efficient way of heating your pool, and Recotherm heat pumps make full use of the advanced refrigeration technology to capture the heat present in the outside air and transfer it to the swimming pool water. Fortunately, heat pumps are amazingly efficient with running costs that are around 25% cheaper than most alternative options such as electric heaters, gas heaters or oil heaters. Furthermore, they can significantly improve the environmental value of any heating system compared with systems driven by primary sources such as gas and oil fuel and electric power, and what's more, they are backed by the governments enhanced capital allowance scheme.
The system also incorporates a pool cover setback facility fitted as standard, so that when the pool cover is on, the system allows the temperature to drop to a predetermined level, whilst continuing to monitor the internal conditions. During this period, the power consumption is reduced to an absolute minimum, thereby cutting running costs to virtually nil. Our system only needs to be connected to a standard, normally existing, heating circuit, single phase low amperage electrical supply.
