The project was originally specified as an ESG system but the contractor, Technic Mechanical Services, were not happy with the information provided by ESG; so they asked Recotherm to look at the project and provide a price for a unit to supply air into both the pool hall and also serve the adjacent changing room. In order to give separate temperature control for the pool hall and the changing room Recotherm designed a unit with twin heater batteries both controlled from separate three-port mixing valves. The price was accepted by the contactor and the projected was completed in the Summer of 2011.
