The Problem

The existing unit was forever breaking down and getting spare parts was not easy as the unit was constructed in Germany .The decision was taken to replace the units but the problem was how could they get the new unit in when the plant room was at the top of the building and the only access was through a standard door way.

The Solution

Recotherm provided the solution by bring there unit on site in flat pack form and building the unit on the site of the original unit. The fact that the construction had to accommodate two 6 inch heating mains that rose up through the centre of the unit didn’t pose a problem for Recotherm who simple constructed a bespoke unit to accommodate the pipes.
