Enjoying a healthier environment in your indoor swimming pool has got to be good news; knowing that it won’t cost a penny more to run is a real bonus. The aim of any swimming pool environmental system is to maintain air conditions in the pool hall to prevent condensation and to ensure the comfort of the bathers.

Recotherm’s computerised controls ensure that the correct temperature and humidity within the pool hall is always maintained and the unit operates at optimal efficiency. A digital keypad provides a visible fault warning and operational mode indicator.

The system also incorporates a pool cover setback facility fitted as standard, so that when the pool cover is on, the unit allows the temperature to drop to a predetermined level, whilst continuing to monitor the internal conditions. During this period, the power consumption is reduced to an absolute minimum, thereby cutting running costs to virtually nil. A useful facility for domestic swimming pool owners, where the pool is probably only uncovered for a few hours a week.

  • The heater battery in the unit has been selected to take low temperature hot water from either a condensing boiler or a geo-thermal heat pump.
  • Each fan is driven by a frequency inverter that is backed by the governments Enhanced Capital Allowance scheme or ECA. This means that companies paying corporation tax can claim back money from the government for installing these inverters
  • The fans in the unit have been selected for there efficiency the specific fan power is only 1.7 W/l/s for the least efficient fan this drops to 0.8 W/l/s for the most efficient fan. All the fans are below the goverment recommended figure of 2.5 W/l/s for units with heating and heat recovery.
