3 Year Fixed Price Maintenance Plan

Customers can fix their costs for three years in advance to help plan budgets, and we also offer flexible payment options to suit your requirements.

Our service capability is comprehensive, from annual maintenance for domestic customers to more frequent schedules for users such as leisure centres and hotels.

It is estimated by the Carbon Trust that bills can increase by up to 60% if a unit is not maintained correctly, so taking out a Recotherm maintenance option is well worthwhile. 

For commercial pools, servicing is recommended every six months, while residential units should be serviced annually. Regular maintenance can extend the lifespan of our swimming pool air handling units beyond 30 years, ensuring consistent efficiency and reliability. Filters should be replaced during each service to maintain optimal airflow and air quality.

A Recotherm service involves a comprehensive inspection, testing of all key components, and recalibration of settings to ensure the unit operates as efficiently as when it was first commissioned. The service also includes filter replacement and checks for any potential issues that could affect performance. Please refer to the service schedule for a full breakdown of maintenance procedures.

A standard service typically takes between 1.5 hours and 4 hours depending on the individual circumstances. However, larger swimming pool air handling units may require additional time due to increased system complexity.

Yes, the unit will remain operational during servicing. If any repairs require temporary shutdown, this will be communicated in advance, ensuring minimal disruption to pool operations.

Recotherm engineers undergo in-depth, specialised training to fully understand the design and operation of Recotherm swimming pool ventilation systems. Their expertise ensures that maintenance is performed to the highest standards, extending the unit’s lifespan and maintaining efficiency. Using non-specialist engineers may result in improper servicing, affecting system performance and warranty coverage.

Recotherm’s technical team is always available to offer advice on energy efficiency, pool hall environment or swimming pool dehumidification applications. All of our staff have technical knowledge and expertise so please do get in touch for advice.

If a maintenance plan is not activated at installation, the unit is still covered under Recotherm’s Installer’s Warranty, which provides protection for up to 12 months from commissioning or 18 months from delivery, whichever is shorter. However, to qualify for Recotherm’s comprehensive Three Year Manufacturer’s Warranty, a Fixed Price Maintenance Plan must be activated at the start of the warranty period.

  • Installer’s Warranty: Covers the unit for 12 months from commissioning or 18 months from delivery.
  • Manufacturer’s Warranty: Extends coverage to three years when a Fixed Price Maintenance Plan is in place.
