M&E Sales/Design Engineer – HVAC AHUs
Recotherm is a market-leading swimming pool air handling unit (AHU) manufacturer, supplying innovative, high-quality solutions to the commercial and domestic marketplace for over 40 years.
Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven M&E Sales/Design team member. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales-focused mechanical designer with strong organisational, presentation and communication skills to drive business growth, expand our M&E sales team and design high-value M&E projects.
The Role:
The role will focus on technical sales, design knowledge and business development. You will be engaging with M&E contractors and consultants, delivering strategic sales initiatives, presenting CPDs and representing the company on stands at industry trade shows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging with M&E contractors and consultants to drive business growth
- Delivery of M&E quotations
- Deliver engaging presentations & CPD training to industry professionals (full training given)
- Conduct on-site surveys
- Participate in team meetings, contributing to business strategy
- Provide verbal and written technical expertise, ensuring clear and confident communication
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven sales-driven mechanical designer with a strong commercial focus
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills – able to engage clients and stakeholders effectively
- Strong presentation skills, confident in delivering CPD training and industry talks
- HVAC & AHU expertise, with detailed knowledge of Psychrometrics & Swimming Pool Ventilation (essential)
- Proficiency in CAD, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of Salesforce (or equivalent) although full training will be given
