Warehouse and HVAC Production Technician
Job Overview:
This role supports both the factory stores function and the manufacture of Air Handling Units (AHUs). The position involves managing incoming parts and stock levels, assisting with the assembly of AHUs to technical drawings, and building electrical backplates in line with wiring diagrams. The successful candidate will help ensure production runs smoothly by maintaining organised stock control, supporting the build process, and working safely and efficiently as part of the factory team to meet project deadlines. A clean, full, driving licence is essential as there may be occasional onsite work across the UK required. Working hours to be 8am – 4pm Monday-Thursday and 8am – 1:30pm Friday.

- Salary £27,000 – £32,000 per annum depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Stock Control and Factory Operations
- Monitor material usage and reorder supplies as required, liaising with suppliers regarding deliveries or shortages.
- Receive, check, and store incoming parts, maintaining a well-organised stores area.
- Carry out regular stock checks to ensure accuracy of inventory.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
AHU Manufacturing and Assembly
- Assist with the assembly of Air Handling Units in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
- Install components such as fans, coils, dampers, heat recovery systems, and controls.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet manufacturing schedules and project deadlines.
Electrical Backplate Assembly
- Build and wire electrical backplates.
- Install control panels and associated components in accordance with wiring diagrams and specifications.
Skills and Experience Required
Essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using hand tools.
- Practical, hands-on approach to work.
- Full, clean driving licence.
Preferred
- Experience assembling AHUs or similar mechanical equipment.
- Ability to interpret bills of materials, production orders, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Basic pipework and electrical experience (training can be provided).
- Understanding of workshop health and safety practices (training provided).
- Fork Lift Licence (site specific training can be provided)
