Martin is a qualified environmental engineer who started out working for a large mechanical services contractor, building swimming pool ventilation systems that incorporated refrigerate based dehumidifiers.
His belief that swimming pool dehumidification could be done more efficiently led him to invent the Recotherm system, a ground-breaking fresh air ventilation system which is now replicated all over the world. Martin continues to innovate today, inspiring his team to maintain Recotherm’s pioneering spirit.

John joined Recotherm having previously run a successful Ventilation and Air Conditioning contracting business for over a decade. With over 30 years in the industry, John moved into the pool trade as a HVAC problem solver. He quickly realised that Recotherm were head and shoulders above the competition from a design, quality and engineering perspective and was delighted and honoured to join the business in 2018.
