Celebrating 40
years of Recotherm’s
innovation & quality

An engineering first

Founded in 1985 by engineer and innovator, Martin Killen, Recotherm has revolutionised swimming pool dehumidification in the UK.

Pioneering a new system of controlled fresh air combined with heat recuperator technology, Martin introduced new energy efficiencies into the design of indoor pool air handling units.

No more costly compressors, condensers and evaporator coils – instead, just the right amount of pre-conditioned clean fresh air needed to keep pool environments perfectly ventilated.

Widely imitated by others in the industry

‘Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery’Oscar Wilde famously said, 100 years before Recotherm made waves in swimming pool ventilation with its ground-breaking technology.

Over the last 40 years, owing to the engineering expertise behind the design, many brands have adopted Recotherm’s pioneering technology for their own systems.

This has firmly cemented Recotherm’s position as market leader, and today, the company is widely recognised as setting the industry standard for swimming pool ventilation units in the UK.
