Crow Wood Leisure

Overview

Over the subsequent years they were so impressed with the resulting pool hall environment coupled with an exceptional level of service that when they launched the Woodland Spa in 2013 they specified a Recotherm unit.

Following a £16m extension to the spa in 2024, where yet another Recotherm unit was commissioned, they now have a trio of units, with the oldest still achieving Crow Wood Leisure’s high standards after 24 years!

Requirement

Crow Wood Leisure always look to use environmentally-friendly suppliers and have a firm commitment to reducing their carbon emissions and energy consumption, evidenced through investment in a combined heat source pump, solar panels on the roof space, a water bore hole and air source heat pumps.

Solution

Recotherm units are aligned with this ethos. Designed for maximum energy efficiency, the units help reduce operational costs without compromising performance, ensuring facilities run smoothly and cost-effectively. In addition, each unit is built for reliability with a lifespan of 25+ years, delivering the durability and consistency that commercial operations demand.

A Superior Pool Hall Environment

All Recotherm units use fresh air, creating the healthiest and most comfortable environment for end users. At such a prestigious resort, it is crucial that any air handling unit not only enhances their experience and well-being but also helps maintain optimal pool conditions.

We understand that when clients enjoy a superior pool hall environment, it reflects positively on their business, boosting satisfaction, loyalty and onward referrals.

Getting pool hall environments right is very difficult to achieve, with few companies out there that do it well. This is why we use Recotherm air handling units.
